Village on the Park Friendswood is an independent living community designed for active seniors who are newly retired or ready to downsize. We offer a maintenance-free, resort-inspired lifestyle where you can age in place with onsite home health services if your needs change, while continuing to enjoy your independence.

We offer airy, modern apartments ranging from 500 to 900 square feet. Choose from studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts in our accessible, single-story building with enclosed hallways and no elevators or outdoor corridors to navigate. Each apartment features cozy yet bright interiors, well-appointed home kitchens, walk-in closets, and thoughtful touches. Some apartments include private patios with views of our lush green grounds leading into gorgeous courtyards.

Yes! Village on the Park Friendswood is pet-friendly. We welcome cats and dogs with some considerations: up to two pets per apartment, 25-pound weight maximum, and certain breed restrictions apply. You’ll love strolling with your pet along our landscaped walking paths or visiting nearby Stevenson Park.

Your monthly fee will depend on your specific choices, including your preferred floor plan and the level of care you require. Due to our popularity and positive reputation, we do maintain a waitlist for certain apartment sizes. Typically, the wait for a one-bedroom apartment is about two months. Monthly costs include three chef-prepared meals daily using fresh ingredients and healthy, homestyle recipes; all utilities except telephone, cable, and internet; weekly housekeeping and linen services; home maintenance and lawn care; scheduled transportation for appointments and outings; planned activities and events; access to all community amenities; 24-hour staffing; and the support of our experienced team.

Our vibrant community features restaurant-style dining, a fitness center with yoga and Pilates classes, a library and sitting room, beauty parlor and barbershop, walking trails through our verdant grounds, lovely courtyards and patio areas, a crochet and knitting club, Bible study, planned off-site trips to local shops and restaurants, and a social calendar bursting with fun activities. We have two full-time Activity Directors dedicated to keeping residents mentally, physically, and spiritually engaged.
