Carriage Inn Bryan

I began my career with Cardinal Bay Senior Living on August 14, 2023. I chose to be an Executive Director because I enjoy being instrumental in leading a community where residents will enjoy the lifestyle that only Cardinal Bay Senior Living can provide.

After serving in the Air Force for four years as a medic, I graduated from LeTourneau University in Houston Texas with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. I began my career as an Executive Director in Senior Living for an Independent Living Community in 1998. For the last twenty plus years, I have had several roles in Senior Living, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Hospice all of which I served at a Regional, Executive, or Marketing level.

You can count on my commitment and dedication to educate and counsel seniors in what Senior Living means today and how they can enjoy a respectful, family-oriented atmosphere in a luxury resort style setting.

Shamica Ausby is the Director of Dining Service at the lovely senior living community of Carriage Inn Bryan. Shamica leads the dining team to make sure that our residents have an amazing dining experience that includes a wide variety of nutritious and delicious foods.

Shamica is the mother of 3 beautiful daughters and she enjoys spending time with her family as much as possible.

Haley Emery is the Life Enrichment Director at Carriage Inn Bryan. Haley enjoys being able to provide a space of comfort and laughter through activities and developing friendships with each resident. She joined our team in 2020 after graduating from Texas A&M.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fiance and their children playing outside and cooking.

Genaro Torres has been the Director of Maintenance at Carriage Inn Bryan since 2010. His responsibility is to ensure that Plant Operations at Carriage Inn Bryan are maintained and functioning properly. Genaro also leads the housekeeping team to make sure that our community is safe and clean for our residents, families, and employees. 

In his free time, Genaro enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 lovely children.

Janna Hubbard is the Director of Resident Care at Carriage Inn Bryan. She has been an LVN since 2015. She has experience in skilled nursing and long-term care. She has a great passion for working with elderly residents.

Janna has 1 son, Kaddon, and when not working, she travels across the world supporting him in extracurricular activities.

Connie Garcia is the director of Life Enrichment. She enjoys using her creativity to plan and organize an impressive range of activities and social events that encourage our residents to stay active and enjoy the sense of community Carriage Inn is known for.

Connie has two children that keep her busy when she’s not keeping the residents busy!
